ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Daniel and I am an airline pilot with a passion for aviation that has taken me across continents. From instructing in the trusty Cessna 172 to the commanding heights of the iconic Boeing 777, I am excited to share a little bit about my aviation journey with you here!

Behind every successful pilot is a foundation of education. In 2019, I proudly earned my bachelor’s in aviation with a minor in business from San José State University. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for a career that has seen me soar to new heights.

One of the pivotal chapters in my aviation story is my involvement with the university’s Precision Flight Team. As a leader of the team, I not only navigated various unique challenges but also showcased my own skills in competitions nationwide. A crowning achievement was clinching first place in the IFR event, a testament to my proficiency in flying under instrument flight rules.

My journey in aviation has been as varied as the roles and responsibilities I’ve undertaken in this dynamic field. Initially, I served as a flight instructor, imparting my knowledge and passion for flying to aspiring aviators. Then transitioning to a commercial airline, I took to the skies with passengers on board, ensuring safe and enjoyable flights. Today, my career has evolved to flying cargo internationally, a role that adds a global dimension to my piloting expertise.

With over five years of flying experience under my belt, I’ve crisscrossed the globe, steering my aircraft to hundreds of unique destinations in multiple different countries. I’ve had the privilege of piloting a wide range of aircraft, each with its own unique challenges and exhilarating moments. Each flight has added layers to my experience, broadening my perspective on the world and the wonders of aviation.
